For Cannafair 2027 there will be a dedicated app with everything you need for your visit. As soon as it is in the app stores, you will find the links here. The quickest way to hear about it is to follow us on Instagram.
Entry & bag check
18+
We check your age at the entrance if you are not clearly over 18. Please bring valid photo ID: ID card, passport or driving licence. There are no exceptions, not even when accompanied by adults, and not for babies or toddlers either.
At the entrance we take a quick look into bags and backpacks. It takes a few seconds and has exactly two reasons: no weapons and no glass bottles on the site.
There are no body searches, we do not search your personal belongings and we do not take away anything that is allowed.
What can I bring?
Because people often ask: the glass ban applies to bottles, not to your smoking accessories. Of course you can bring your glass bong. Packed well, it will get home in one piece.
Getting there
Areal Böhler is a listed former steelworks between Düsseldorf and Meerbusch, about 15 minutes by car from Düsseldorf main station.
From Düsseldorf main station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U76, U74 or U70 towards Krefeld or Lörick to the Lörick stop, not to be confused with “Löricker Straße”. From there it is a few minutes' walk. The journey takes about 20 minutes, a VRR ticket for price level A is valid. From the airport, take the S11 or S1 to the main station and then the U76, about 45 minutes in total.
Via the A52 (exit Düsseldorf-Heerdt) or the A44. The car parks around the site are free for all guests.
Along the Rhine paths it takes just over 20 minutes from the city centre.

FAQ
Yes. Bongs, vaporizers, pipes and grinders are explicitly allowed, including glass ones. The visual check at the entrance looks for weapons and glass bottles, not smoking accessories.
Yes, both. Just no glass bottles: cans, PET, cartons and reusable aluminium or plastic bottles are no problem. You can bring your own food without restrictions.
You open your bag, security takes a look inside, done. It is only about weapons and glass bottles. There are no body searches and nobody searches your personal belongings.
No. Cannafair is an 18+ event, with no exceptions even when accompanied by adults. Please bring valid photo ID.
A day ticket is valid for one day, during which you can leave and re-enter the site as often as you like. The business ticket covers all three days plus the business lounge and is intended for trade visitors only. As a regular visitor, buy a separate day ticket for each day.
For private use, yes. Ask exhibitors before filming or photographing at their stand and respect other guests who do not want to be in the picture. Commercial shoots and press teams register with us in advance.
Dogs and all other animals are not allowed. Assistance dogs are of course welcome, but must be clearly identified as such. “Trust me bro” is not enough.
Tickets are available at the box office while stocks last. Saturday is usually the busiest day, so if you want to be sure to get in, buy online.
